## **Introduction**

[Lift The Mask](https://www.liftthemask.com) is a program that supports mental health in the goaltending community.

## Mission

Lift The Mask acts as the bridge between goalies and mental health support. We do this in the following ways:&#x20;

1. We help goalies [get-started](https://thegoalieguild.gitbook.io/home/lift-the-mask/intro/get-started "mention") by introducing them to mental health care providers.
2. We offer goalies [financial-aid](https://thegoalieguild.gitbook.io/home/lift-the-mask/financial-aid "mention") in the form of a **$100 USD** stipend to help eliminate the financial barriers associated with getting help.
3. We offer goalies an [ambassadors](https://thegoalieguild.gitbook.io/home/lift-the-mask/intro/ambassadors "mention") program. This is for any goalie (ages 12 and up) that want to become a mental health advocate in their area.
4. We host monthly [Broken link](https://thegoalieguild.gitbook.io/home/lift-the-mask/broken-reference "mention") and **Group Chats** for the community. These are an easy and fun way for goalies to get involved and support the mental health movement.&#x20;
